DIS field operatives enjoy a versatile and customisable set of gear. There are a few requirements for the outfit as a whole which are included in the description of each component. Images are used as examples for visualisation purposes, however you are free to create your own images of how your gear looks providing you adhere to uniform standards. --- ![><](file-guid:ba01319e-0389-4b43-86ef-fb9ce94cd0e7 "image.png" =x450) **Helmet** - DIS helmets or masks MUST be expressionless. Visors can be customised to be red in colour, however black is most common. Details and patterns can also be customised, providing they do not provide any kind of symbolised facial expression. Helmets come with useful field capabilities such as scanning functions, thermal and night vision, built-in communications, and air filter. Helmets can be pressurised to seal out harmful gases or toxins. They can also provide a voice modulating function to provide anonymity. Hoods may be pulled over helmets - this is personal choice. --- ![><](file-guid:6f4f338f-7e87-42f6-950b-269affef4a0c "image.png" =x450) **Outfit** - Outfits are highly customisable, but always include either a red, gold, or black dragon insignia to denote service to the King. No displays of rank or operating number are present to maintain anonymity in the field. Gear is typically light or medium weight to prioritise agility and movement. Typically made of synthweave with some armour padding, gear prioritises weight and movement over defense. --- ![><](file-guid:e1dc0000-65ac-4153-9375-d8e15007edde "image.png" =x450) **Gloves** - Agent gloves provide protection from temperature and sharp objects, but are not completely resistant. Padding and texture provide grip on smooth surfaces and protect from impact when engaged in hand-to-hand combat.
